Aron Alpha Cyanoacrylate Primers
Aron Alpha® Cyanoacrylate Primers are used to increase bond strength on polyolefins and other difficult low surface energy plastic materials, such as:
- Polypropylene (PP)
- Polyethylene (PE)
- (EPT) ethylene propylene terpolymer rubber.
Aron Alpha brand primers should be used with Aron Alpha brand cyanoacrylate adhesives. When bonding materials with cyanoacrylate adhesives the primer should be pre-applied to ensure the best cure on inactive surfaces.
When using solvent based primers, the solvent carrier should be allowed to flash off the material prior to applying the adhesive. Cyanoacrylate Primers may not be recommended for use on all substrates so it’s suggested to consult the product’s data sheet prior to application.
